Following the sad loss of the wonderful medium and teacher and good friend of the Journey Within, Mavis Pittilla, it is with great pleasure, as a tribute to her, that we have invited her wife and fellow educator, Jean Else and their good friend and authorized teacher, Annie Gee to run a workshop.

They will share Mavis’s philosophy, knowledge, skills, and craft of mediumship to those of you who already have been learning from the best. They have many USA friends from their mentorships, both here at the Journey Within and Boston, as well as their extensive online programs.

It is their honour and privilege to carry on Mavis’s legacy, indeed it is their lifelong pledge to do so.

This programme is for those advanced students who are already being taught in Mavis’s programmes and are familiar with Mavis’s teachings. You will want to establish firmer foundations and practices, through an exciting in person 4 -day workshop. Those at the right level, having taken the recent on-line induction are also welcome. There will be practical exercises throughout the 4 days working with the incarnate and discarnate souls, and you will be stretched and challenged with everything you undertake. Mavis never expected complacency, she always honoured spirit by pushing herself to the limits, as did her close friend and former Pastor of the Journey Within, Janet Nohavec. Jean and Annie are sure that both these fabulous women will be sharing the workshop with them, encouraging you all.

Throughout the 4 days you will be using all the knowledge and skills you have already learned and take them to the next level ensuring that you push yourselves in the same way.

Many of you know Jean and Annie are both bright, humorous, personalities, who you will enjoy working with, but they also recognise the importance of good and reverent mediumship, with clear ethical and moral boundaries. The balance between hard work and fun is the key to success.

As Jean says:

“The loss of Mavis, and indeed, our good friend and former Pastor of The Journey Within, Janet Nohavec, has focussed my need and understanding of ‘real” communication with the spirit world, not just trite, generic information. The devastation of the physical loss I have experienced can never be repaired, but excellent communication from the spirit world, indeed our loved ones, brings some comfort. Sadly, there are too many mediums out there that don’t really understand what they are doing, and this is heart breaking and morally not acceptable.
