Intermediate Astrology: Tools for Interpretation

Astrology is a language of symbols, cycles, and stories written across the sky. If you have taken “Astrology: An Introduction to Understanding Spiritual Awareness and Growth, this course is the next step!

We step beyond the basics and begin to refine our ability to interpret—to weave together planets, signs, houses, and aspects into meaningful narratives. If you already know how to recognize the building blocks of a chart, now we will explore how those pieces interact, how they speak to one another, and how they reveal the deeper patterns of a life.

This intermediate journey is about cultivating both skill and intuition.

Together, we will review a few basics and add to the toolbox by:
• Strengthening our technical tools: We will do a review of basics, aspects, learn additional configurations, dignities, chart patterns, and timing techniques.
• In this class, you will learn or have a better understanding of empty houses and un-aspected planets, dispositors, and retrograde planets. Learn about the Chaldean Order, Sect, and Planetary Pairs. What is a mutual reception and what the different house systems are.
• Develop interpretive confidence: By learning to synthesize multiple factors your growth will lead to confidence.
• Balance precision with intuition: You will understand that honoring astrology is both an understanding of our connection to the heavens and art.
• Practice with real charts: We will apply methods to live examples, so theory becomes experience.

We step beyond the basics and begin to refine our ability to interpret—to weave together planets, signs, houses, and aspects into meaningful narratives. If you already know how to recognize the building blocks of a chart, now we will explore how those pieces interact, how they speak to one another, and how they reveal the deeper patterns of a life.

This intermediate journey is about cultivating both skill and intuition.

Together, we will review a few basics and add to the toolbox by:
• Strengthening our technical tools: We will do a review of basics, aspects, learn additional configurations, dignities, chart patterns, and timing techniques.
• In this class, you will learn or have a better understanding of empty houses and un-aspected planets, dispositors, and retrograde planets. Learn about the Chaldean Order, Sect, and Planetary Pairs. What is a mutual reception and what the different house systems are.
• Develop interpretive confidence: By learning to synthesize multiple factors your growth will lead to confidence.
• Balance precision with intuition: You will understand that honoring astrology is both an understanding of our connection to the heavens and art.
• Practice with real charts: We will apply methods to live examples, so theory becomes experience.

By the end of this course, you will have a deeper understanding and richer toolkit for interpretation as an astrologer.

• Learning to handle multiple communicators
• Learning techniques involved in double linking with spirit.
• Phrasing, language, and terminology will be explored – what is and what is not appropriate.

For these intermediate/advanced level classes, the student should be able to:

Discern the gender of the person in spirit
Their approximate age
The relationship to the sitter when possible
Manner of passing (illness, heart, abrupt, etc.)
Some personality traits
You should be Keeping eyes open during a reading
Always are providing respect for spirit and sitter when delivering messages.
Have a minimal repetition of information
Have some understanding of the difference between a psychic and spirit connection.
